Held at the YMCA, Paisley, on Sunday 23rd February, the event attracted another massive entry of 100 players across the 3 events. As per last year, the P5 & Under was split into 2 sections, and the P6/7 into 3.

This section was split into 3 sections, Rooks, Bishops and Knights. There were not enough 'stars' to justify a 'stars' only so these were spread among the 3 events. A total of well over 50 players took part in the P6/7 events.
Primary 6/7 - Rooks A 4-way tie in this event meant several tie-breaks to decide 1st to 4th. Although all 4 players are marked as 1st equal, they are in the order of tie break.
