Here are the results of theP5 & Under Final, played at Wester Hailes, Edinburgh on Sunday 25th May 2003.
All 32 invitees had qualified through the various heats held throughout the country. On the day, 4 invitees did not appears leaving a final of 28 pupils - Unfortunately this was the holiday weekend and apparently there were a couple of football games on that afternoon that decided the Scottish Premier League! Over 15 different schools were represented, with the dominating one being Bishopton (5 players).

Tie breaks and indeed 2nd tie breaks had to be used for places 2 to 6, but all those involved should consider themselves as being 2nd equal. Top 6 received trophies, the others received a commemorative boxed medal.

As usual, 1st place went down to the wire to the last round when Rhian Hughes, runner up last year, went one better this year winning her last round against Jonathan Wright. This means the trophy returns south after being held in the North / North East for the past couple of years.
