After a couple of years when everyone was thrown in together to play for the 3 trophies in one competition, the championship is now played by the strongest players in the club, usually the top 10/12, over 6 or 7 rounds throughout the year. The Mercury and AT Mays, are sometimes joined together in one tournament, although this year due to numbers, the Mercury is played for amongst the next 10 players and the AT Mays the next 18.
